She holds a current U.S. Passport Book and the People Access Security Service (PASS) Card, an alternative to meet the documentary requirements of the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI), issued to U.S. citizens only, that can be used to enter the U.S. from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda at land border crossings or sea ports-of-entry.
She holds the Canadian Free and Secure Trade (FAST) Card and is a participant in the FAST program. The FAST card is available to drivers who have been jointly approved by the U.S. and Canadian Governments. Each country must approve carriers and importers separately and builds on what the Canadian Government has already implemented under the Customs Self-Assessment (CSA) program.
She successfully passed a security threat assessment conducted by Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) and was approved for the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) Card. She is a participant in the TWIC program, which is a TSA and U.S. Coast Guard initiative in the U.S. The TWIC program provides a tamper-resistant biometric credential to maritime workers requiring unescorted access to secure areas of port facilities, outer continental shelf facilities, and vessels regulated under the Maritime Transportation Security Act (MTSA) of 2002, and all U.S. Coast Guard credentialed merchant mariners.
She holds both Norfolk-Southern Rail Yard and Union Pacific Rail Yard pre-approved codes, meeting documentary requirements, allowing her ease of business transactions at those rail yards throughout the United States.
She is a Certified Driver Mentor and Career Advisor for one of the United States' leading transportation companies. She is a million miles safe driver. She has a decade of personal, first-hand experience of "life on the road," as well as a working knowledge of the problems severely impacting the U.S. transportation industry in the nature of driver recruitment and driver retention.
